What Land Can I Insure With PRF?

1. Haying ground:

Your PRF Policy can insure any land that you use to grow hay or forage for livestock, both irrigated and non-irrigated. Hay ground has a higher acre value and therefore higher indemnity potential.

2. Grazing ground:

Any land that you use for livestock grazing is also eligible for PRF coverage.

3. Leased land:

PRF insurance can cover land that you lease for haying or grazing, including BLM, Forestry, State, or other government leases.

Bottom line: With PRF you can insure any land that you use for haying or grazing, whether owned or leased, including government leases. Though some exceptions may apply (i.e if there’s a lake or large body of water on land that you own or lease for haying or grazing, that will have to be reduced from your covered acreage).
